SMS Consent & Opt-In Policy

How crew members opt in
NE Studios sends SMS notifications only to crew members who have explicitly opted in through the NE HQ app at nehq.io. Opt-in happens through a consent checkbox during onboarding or in Settings → Notifications. The checkbox is unchecked by default and requires an affirmative action to enable.
The exact consent language reads:
“I agree to receive SMS notifications from NE Studios about booking requests, confirmations, and day-before shoot reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on active bookings. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
What we send
SMS messages are operational only. We send:
- Soft hold requests — tentative booking inquiries with role, dates, and rate range
- Booking confirmations — final details (rate, role, location) once the production is locked in
- Day-before reminders — call time, location, and a link to the call sheet
- Account notifications — updates related to your bookings or profile
We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party messages of any kind.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on active bookings. A typical active week is 1–5 messages. If you're not currently booked, you'll likely receive no messages at all.
How to opt out
You can stop receiving SMS notifications at any time:
- Reply STOP to any message
- Uncheck the SMS consent toggle in Settings → Notifications in the NE HQ app
Both methods take effect immediately. Reply HELP to any message for support, or email nithin@nestudios.io.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan. NE Studios does not charge for SMS.
Data & privacy
Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are stored securely and used only for the operational messages described above. We never sell, rent, share, or transfer your phone number to third parties for marketing.
