1. Who we are

NE Studios (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a video production company based in Kennesaw, Georgia. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information through our contractor management platform at nehq.io (“NE HQ”).

2. Information we collect

When you create an account or complete onboarding, we may collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number
  • Professional title and skills
  • Dietary restrictions and shirt size (for on-set logistics)
  • Emergency contact information
  • Availability and scheduling preferences
  • Booking history and compensation records
  • SMS and notification preferences

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Coordinate booking requests and crew assignments
  • Send notifications about your active bookings and upcoming shoots
  • Process contractor compensation
  • Coordinate on-set logistics (meals, wardrobe, call times)
  • Contact you in case of emergency during a production
  • Improve the Platform based on usage patterns

4. SMS messages

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we use your phone number to send operational text messages about:

  • Soft hold requests and booking confirmations
  • Day-before shoot reminders (call time, location, call sheet)
  • Account notifications related to your bookings

Message frequency is 1–5 messages per active week, and zero when you're not booked. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS of any kind.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by toggling SMS off in Settings → Notifications.

SMS opt-in data (phone number, consent timestamp) is never sold, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Our platform is hosted on Vercel with a Turso database. Access is restricted to authorized NE Studios personnel.

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account. If you would like your data deleted, contact us using the information below.

6. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate NE HQ:

  • Twilio — SMS message delivery
  • Resend — email notifications
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Turso — database services
  • Monday.com — production coordination and sync

These services process your data solely on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Opt out of SMS notifications at any time
  • Update your notification preferences in Settings
